In 1975, Marvin Taylor found himself at a crossroads. After serving his country in Vietnam, he returned to a struggling economy, where even the aircraft companies he once knew were downsizing. Faced with uncertainty, Marvin took on work with a local company handling inks and dyes. Little did he know, this opportunity would pave the way for his own entrepreneurial journey.
Years later, Marvin and wife Kathryn bought the company with a vision of providing unwavering dedication, exceptional customer service, fair pricing, and meticulous attention to product quality.
Armed with just 5,000 square feet of warehouse space, a forklift, and a straight truck, the young family began building the company you see here today. Over 47 years have passed since that humble beginning. Along the way, the business has grown, welcoming new generations into the fold, expanding its space, and adding more trucks to its fleet. Yet amidst the changes, one thing remains constant: ensuring customer satisfaction by going above and beyond to meet your needs with efficiency, reliability, and integrity.
As of 2024, Industrial Warehouse has expanded its footprint, but its core values remain unchanged. From stacking shelves to overseeing shipments, Amy's journey through the company was a hands-on education in every aspect of warehouse management.
In 2013, Amy officially stepped into her role within the company, poised to embrace the legacy built by her family. Armed with a deep understanding of the inner workings of the warehouse and a passion for innovation, she embarked on a mission to revolutionize the family-owned company to continue its long legacy.
